Google Sets October 17, 2007

So while looking for something else on Google Labs, I found a neat new feature that they’re testing called Google Sets. This struck me as having a lot of potential- you enter up to 5 items in a set, and then google suggests more- either up to 15, or lots and lots.
For example, I entered ’siamese’, ‘persian’, and ’scottish fold’, all cat breeds. Google returned the following:
Expanding my results added many more cat breeds which I’d never even heard of, like the Pixie-Bob, rumoured to be a domestic cat - bobcat cross. This could be a really neat place to start research.
