I suppose this may not be new to many folks, but I just ran across StudyBUZZ, a site which allows students to take tests identifying areas of weakness in preparation for BC Provincial exams. Once a unit test is written, students are given personalized study guides which focus on their weak areas. They can track their progress, as well as e-mail assessment results to parents or teachers. How handy!
Teachers can login on a demo account and see what is offered and how it looks. Students need their PENs to sign up, as the site is connected to Learn Now BC and therefore governed by BC’s Freedom of Information Act. (Students can also access free tutoring on Learn Now BC’s site.)
